Dont Forget The Cake
Colour co-ordination as all you brides know is the key.

The latin inscription can be found above the external door leading to The Great Hall.
The chairs were dressed in a deep plum organza for the civil ceremony and later taken by Matfen staff to be placed round the tables in readiness for the Wedding Breakfast.
Wynyard Hall is the second image.
This crest and inscription is above the door leading from The Ballroom toward The Chapel.
We were at Wynyard twice this week the first being in the mirrored room dressing the chairs in a vintage purple.
The resident photographer ( my other half ) decided to go all 'arty' and emphasise the fact that we were in the mirror room by taking a photograph through the mirror.
The second visit was to dress for a Wedding breakfast in the ballroom in a rich claret that totally complimented the biscuit linen.

Going the extra..................
I realise that choosing the right centrepiece and colour scheme needs to be given careful thought and more often than not this can be discussed and chosen when the bride comes to my home for a one to one consultation.
However there are occasions when we need to take it one step further and this can involve me meeting the bride at the venue to dress a table in order that the visualisation process is taken to that next level.
This week I met 2 brides at Wynyard Hall where I was able to dress a table and chairs in order that a colour scheme could be chosen.

The colour of choice for this future bride was Coral.
Going on from this the bride was also searching for a unique centrepiece that picked up on her colour scheme so we encorporated a centrepiece with elegant roses and gave it a contemporary twist by using an LED lit base set to a Coral light,this light was then picked up in the crystal droplets on the chandelier.
My second appointment for the evening was for a bride who needed to bring green into her wedding breakfast room so after much deliberation.
A rich deep green complementing Wynyard's Biscuit coloured chair covers and linen.

Wynyard Hall Wedding Fayre
Phew ! what a day.
My feet are just recovering now ( probably due to my 3 1/2 inch heels ).
We met some amazing people;- brides ,exhibitors and did you see the ladies in the hats with the blow up pug dogs!
The whole day is pure theatre.
I dont feel that this is the time or place to talk about how many bookings we did or didnt get, suffice to say that the lace sashes went down a storm.
(thats me putting the final touches to the lace).
The lace is actual Nottingham Lace rather than the organza with a flock/lace pattern printed on it which i feel gives an authentic look to any vintage theme.
Our table was dressed in Cadburys Purple combined with gold this was my other half's choice as he said it reflected a Regal theme in keeping with the impending Royal Wedding.
To be honest i'm not really getting the Royal Wedding buzz yet perhaps when Kate Middleton ask's me to do her chair covers that might change ( ha ha ).
I would also like to ask the kind person who 'borrowed' items of Stationery from our table to have a pang of conscience and return them,can you believe that !
We will be doing a feature on Babydoll Stationery very soon as she has been with us from day 1 making stationery for us to use at Wedding fayres we attend.

Remember your surroundings
If you dont have a particular colour scheme in mind then dress the chairs to match the room colours.This is a beautiful room and the blue is picked up in the carpet and the walls.
The chair covers are in our ivory colour and we used our own ivory table linen which does 'match', as the table linen is made from the same roll of cloth as the chair covers

Spot the difference.....................there isn’t any !.... Wynyard Hall have an exclusive coloured table linen which is a 'biscuit' colour so we have had an exclusive chair cover made to match and compliment their biscuit coloured linen.

We can supply biscuit,ivory or white chair covers,the cost for all 3 colourways is the same.

However the white or ivory chair covers dont match Wynyards biscuit table linen so you need to hire matching linen in ivory or white.
You will need tablecloths,napkins cake table cloth and top table cloths.
Therefore by hiring biscuit chair covers, you save!
